Meet Eric

Natural Fit

I got into massage because it just felt right—like a natural fit. I love that it keeps me moving, engaged, and present. No two sessions are ever the same; every person brings a unique experience, and I get to meet them in that moment, adapting, responding, and improvising. It’s creative work, much like playing music—there’s rhythm, harmony, and a deep connection.

After years of high-stress jobs, I’ve found something that resonates—something aligned with the natural flow of life. And that’s a beautiful thing.

What draws me most to this work is its depth. It’s not just about muscles and movement—it’s about presence, awareness, and the complexity of being human.

There’s always more to learn, from the intricacies of anatomy to the subtleties of consciousness. It’s work that feels rich and meaningful, like stepping into a kind of sacred space where healing and discovery happen.

It’s always a joy for me to meet people who’ve found their true calling. Eric’s just so happens to be massage therapy. He made me feel at ease with a gentle and timely sense of humour, and let me tell you, this man means business. He found every single knot, trigger point and worked miracles on my achey body. I’m not much of a spiritual person myself, but if this is what a transcendent epiphany feels like, sign me up.

Improvisational style

Rather than following a single approach, Eric intuitively combines techniques to create a treatment tailored to each person. His work blends elements of rocking and mobilization from the Trager Method, deep tissue and trigger point therapy for pain relief, and active, movement-based techniques that engage the client in the process. He also draws from broad, flowing styles like Lomi Lomi and Californian massage, bringing a soulful and connected quality to his work. His approach is improvisational—every session is unique, shaped by the individual in front of him and their needs in the moment.

Music

Outside of his passion for bodywork, Eric is also a lifelong musician. Over the years, he has played and toured with many Canadian bands, sharing his deep love for music on stages across the country.

In January 2025, he released Songs from the Round Table, a solo album of original songs recorded in collaboration with some of his closest friends. The result is a spirited and heartfelt collection of songs inspired by the singer-songwriters of the 60s and 70s.
